Organised labour, comprising The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Trade Union Congress (TUC) and United Labour Congress (ULC) on Sunday announced the suspension of its warnings strike, just three days after it commenced the industrial action. The suspension according to Labour was sequel to the receipt of of a formal invitation to a reconvened meeting of the tripartite committee negotiating the new minimum wage which will hold on Thursday. LEADERSHIP recalled that organised labour had last Thursday embarked on a warning strike to demand speedy passage of the new minimum wage.
