A woman's face has been disfigured by a man because she stood up for the right of women to not be touched inappropriately.

Rofilor Mnomiya took to Twitter to share a photo of her injuries. She also shared a photo of the man who attacked her after social media users encouraged her to.

In the photo she shared, deep cuts and scratches sustained in the attack can be seen on her face.
